BITUG 2024 Autumn SIG from an Omni point of view

In early November, we celebrated both Guy Fawkes night and were treated to the result of the US Presidential elections. More importantly, we wrapped up an incredible Little SIG 2024 in the beautiful city of London! 👏 Huge thanks to the BITUG organizers for an inspiring day filled with insightful presentations on AI, the future of Hewlett Packard Enterprise NonStop in hybrid models and public clouds, including in early afternoon how OmniPayments offers advanced Payments as a Service across EMEA.

It was an exciting day for sure. The entire event was held in a single room so each presenter was ensured the entire audience for the day. Luisa stepped into the frame and gave an engaging presentation that had the audience somewhat glued.

We included the great steps forward we have made in 2024 including the joint success in Taiwan for our new OmniPayments customer, whose name can be shared shortly, hopefully.

With Luisa moving to Europe, we’re delighted to announce that OmniPayments has managed to double its European resource headcount.  This event was just the latest instance of OmniPayments addressing the NS community.  As such it’s good for all community members to hear of the work being done by independent solutions vendors: Especially in payments-orientated markets which we all know have become quite thin-on-the-ground.

HPE themselves are keen to build on the wide success of OmniPayments in the LATAM markets, where every retail customer is doing something quite unique and special.
