Changes to sales and marketing at NTI
For NonStop users, it will bring about deeper customer collaboration, listening to their needs, and building trustworthy relationships
NTI
There has been a lot of attention given of late to the changes happening with NonStop and with HPE – spin/mergers, the machine and yes, hybrid IT. What hasn’t changed is the focus of the NonStop development team in that NonStop remains the premier option as far as fault tolerant servers are concerned. No vendor has come close to matching the degree of uptime NonStop provides out-of-the-box. However, is has been the widening of deployment options that has brought about changes within NonStop where today, NonStop users can continue to add more Itanium blades to their bladesystem or chose to move to an x86-based converged system or even consider running their NonStop workloads in virtual machines.
Perhaps it is simply a continuation of the changes under way that here at NTI there have been changes taking place as well. The news may already have made it into the NonStop community but just in case it hasn’t, we are very pleased to announce the arrival of well-known NonStop sales leader, Tim Dunne. Tim will be heading our global operation as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. Tim brings with him a wealth of knowledge about the NonStop community and the requirements and needs of NonStop users. Tim has 32 years of sales experience and was a major contributor to the success that Insession Technologies enjoyed before he joined GoldenGate Software and more, recently, Integrated Research. With his knowledge of NonStop together with data replication, data integration and even monitoring, NTI views Tim’s arrival as not only a change in sales leadership but a change in strategy with even greater focus being brought on the needs of NonStop users.
For those of you who may have seen Tim at the recent NonStop Technical Boot Camp, you will have noticed he joins a very strong team from NTI. Present at the Boot Camp were CTO, Alphonse Hoge, Support Director Michelle Avery and Sales Consultant Kate Nee. And this is just the beginning as NTI will be visible at yet many more events in 2018. Tim attributes his longevity and success in sales to his respect for customer’s time – listening to their needs, building trustworthy relationships, and collaborating with them to make their solution a success. So yes, keep an eye out for Tim as, together with other members of the NTI team, he will be, “here, there and everywhere” as he makes the rounds at the Regional User Group events and begins initiating personal contact. If you’d like to reach Tim, you may email him at Tim.Dunne@Network-Tech.com
Another change that has come about and follows the arrival of Tim at NTI is the presence of social media specialist, Richard Buckle. A former ITUG Board Member and subsequently, a two term ITUG Chairman Richard is well known within the NonStop community as both a volunteer and as a strong advocate of all things NonStop. Recently a guest of HPE at HPE Discover where he joined a HPE group of independent bloggers as an influencer, Richard will be leading our development of multiple social media outreaches and working with Tim. Together they represent a complete overhaul of our sales and marketing efforts. In the coming weeks, look to read more from Richard even as you can expect to hear even more from Tim. At NTI we welcomed Richard to our team and you can always reach Richard at Richard@Pyalla-Technologies.com
NTI has enjoyed global success with its flagship product, DRNet, but it is important to continue to convey to the broader NonStop community our core values as a company. At NTI, we are driven to exemplify one Core Value and that is “Customer First”, or better stated, “The Customer Relationship”. Our energy and focus is always on the Customers to ensure their satisfaction with our DRNet product and service. This is an important aspect of our business practices as we know there are multiple vendors providing solutions in this market segment – data replication, integration and synchronization. And yet, it is imperative that we successfully communicate to decision makers that they do indeed owe it to their management and stakeholders to consider all of the HPE NonStop technologies available.
With features that oftentimes overlap and where business cases and value propositions can appear similar, it is with this customer first and best-in-class support where NTI really shines with DRNet and as many NonStop customers begin migrating to new converged x86-based systems, it is an opportune time to consider their options as they plan for the future. Simple conversations with NTI could prove extremely beneficial as it isn’t only about support but increasingly about price and ease of migration – HPE is ensuring NonStop users know about new pricing models for NonStop X systems (as well as virtualized NonStop) so we encourage everyone in the NonStop community requiring data replication, integration and synchronization to contact us as making decisions without all the information really is doing a major disservice not only to yourself but to your management and stakeholders as well.
Change is an unstoppable force. We see hybrid IT on many of the NonStop users roadmaps and in almost every case, databases need to be replicated and applications moved with no downtime for the end-users. You will see NTI at RUG events as you will see us at major HPE sponsored symposiums and exhibitions. Don’t forget to look out for us and when you see any member of our team, make sure you engage them – and yes, a big welcome to Tim and to Richard. And of course, you can always reach out to us by simply calling us or emailing us at any time.
