Connect Hosts Superb HPE NonStop TBC 2020 All-Digital Experience

At the Connect NonStop Technical Boot Camp 2020, participants enjoyed content-rich presentations announcing HPE’s NextGen servers, user case study presentations (covering specific implementations and tools utilized to expedite HPE NonStop solution development), tips and tricks along with best practices for using HPE NonStop, and even free training offered by the NonStop Academy.

Gravic Publishes New Article on Shadowbase Zero Downtime Migration

Gravic recently published the article, Thinking of Migrating During a Pandemic? You Are Not Alone! in the November/December issue of The Connection. This article discusses a recent trend we’ve seen in the HPE NonStop community: IT teams honing their focus on new features while ramping up various business continuity improvement projects, including zero downtime migrations (ZDM). We are impressed and inspired with how HPE NonStop technologists in our community continue to innovate despite the challenging times during this pandemic. We review the situations, problems, solutions, and outcomes for three use cases: casino application environment ZDM, California credit union ZDM, and managing a massive data growth with online repartitioning.
