CSP Celebrates NonStop’s 50th At TBC 2024

CSP

AdrianAdrian

NonStop TBC 2024 was a memorable experience as the NonStop community celebrated the technology’s 50th anniversary.

As a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s conference, CSP was focused on helping NonStop users achieve their security and compliance goals for their systems and applications.

As we all know, understanding who can access your NonStop environment is an essential component of a holistic Vulnerability Management and Digital Resilience strategy. CSP developed Authenticator+ v5.0 to provide multi-factor authentication for critical applications.

However, when it comes to resilience, knowing who is accessing your system is only the first step in protecting your critical information. How sure are NonStop managers about configuring user access permissions and the security settings for each user profile? CSP has created a unique solution, CSP Vulnerability Scanner, to aid NonStop managers in understanding potential security vulnerabilities in their NonStop Systems.

We recognize that NonStop users require a non-disruptive solution that is simple to use and provides comprehensive reports to detect abnormalities in their NonStop System. Consider CSP Vulnerability Scanner, our response to those requests, and it was featured in our presentation at this year’s NonStop TBC 2024, along with CSP Authenticator +.

Whether an enterprise is looking to create superior defenses against ransomware attacks, establish early detection systems to prevent hacking attempts, or address compliance requirements, the corporate world must constantly adapt to maintain the integrity of its critical data and applications. Resilience is the theme of the conference, and we will showcase the range of security solutions we offer to help organizations reduce their exposure to vulnerabilities and improve their resilience to unknown threats.

Introducing the New CSP Authenticator+ v5.0

The new CSP Authenticator+ v5.0 provides multi-factor authentication for NonStop servers and supports various authentication methods. It can be used as a Safeguard SEEP or with Pathway and non-Pathway applications.

This redesigned version’s components are installed entirely on the NonStop server (Guardian and OSS). Installation and setup are very quick, and the product is simple to use.

Safeguard Authentication SEEP

In this mode, all Guardian-user login attempts processed by Safeguard are handled by the Authenticator+. CSP Authenticator+ may return prompts for RSA token value or issue other challenges based on a user’s configuration.

Pathway or Non-Pathway Server

In this mode, login attempts through an application, including a Pathway application, are passed to the CSP Authenticator+ OSS gateway for secondary authentication.

Supports Multiple Authentication Methods

Multiple authentication methods such as RSA Authentication Manager, Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator are supported. Additional authentication methods will be available in upcoming versions.
