ETI continues to grow its product portfolio
The NonStop user community gravitates to those vendors who demonstrate product strength and technology leadership – ETI is continuing to grow following a series of strategic acquisitions
ETI
DanIt has been hard for any vendor to miss the messages coming from senior managers of the HPE NonStop organization – yes, they would like to see vendors become bigger and through size, stronger. An ecosystem of thriving vendors is a highly visible confirmation that a system remains important to enterprises. For those looking for mission critical systems in support of business applications, NonStop remains an important consideration. However, becoming bigger for the NonStop communities means focusing on inorganic growth.
Over the past twelve months, ETI has grown considerably through acquisitions making the company bigger and stronger and more capable of supporting NonStop over the long term. ETI’s acquisition of Insider Technologies has allowed the company to expand into the monitoring space and more recently, with the purchase of Crossroads, to further grow within data archiving and management.
While adding products from Crossroads’ portfolio to ETI’s own portfolio of virtual tape and backup products sent a strong message to the NonStop community about the importance ETI places on this market, the addition of monitoring products is something we see will become increasingly important in the future – the NonStop product roadmaps show NonStop taking many paths and for some enterprises, there will be an increased need for monitoring. Not just NonStop but the worlds of Windows, Linux, etc.
ETI will be an active participant at this years’ NonStop Technical Boot Camp as it has been since the beginning, in fact both ETI and Insider Technologies will be exhibitors. This important event will be an ideal forum to update the community on ETI’s expanding product portfolio – and where ETI’s highly capable technical experts will be present to provide as much information about ETI and Insider Technologies as any NonStop user requires.
ETI is a strong supporter of the NonStop community and places great importance in its relationship with HPE. It remains focused on providing outstanding products and service to its customers worldwide. ETI is also committed to continue making acquisitions and should there be those in the NonStop vendor community thinking of exiting, then ETI is open to helping current owners quickly reach their goals.
