Gravic leverages NonStop events worldwide to showcase Shadowbase at work today in front of customers, prospects and HPE!
There are many forums available to the NonStop vendor community whereby they can convey their message. Whether it is via NonStop Insider, The Connection or it’s growing social media presence there should be no way to miss hearing about Gravic and Shadowbase software. However, perhaps the best way to communicate the true value proposition the company provides with its masthead product, is through presentations at NonStop events worldwide, and the first quarter of 2019 is proving no exception.
Gravic will be participating in a number of upcoming RUG events including the APAC Mission Critical Solution (MCS) Boot Camp as well as SunTUG. When it comes to the event in APAC, Gravic is a proud sponsor and looks forward to further interactions with the NonStop community. Details for both events follow here:
APAC Mission Critical Solution (MCS) Boot Camp, being held in Bangkok, February 24-26, 2019
Some of the event objectives are communicating on key Mission Critical System (MCS) strategies and the HPE Roadmap; sharing best practices in MCS sales, presales, and customer support; elaborating on the MCS product value and competitive advantages; as well as reviewing ISV and solution partner updates.
We will present HPE Shadowbase Use Cases and Product Update, to over 80 HPE employees from 12 different countries in both the NonStop and Other Server session tracks. We look forward to discussing new HPE Shadowbase releases during in-depth technical sessions and at the closing round table.
SunTUG “2019 Sunshine Summit” being held at the Double Tree by Hilton in Tampa, Florida March 1 – 2, 2019
Gravic Presenter, Paden R. Holenstein, will address the topic HPE Shadowbase Update and Enterprise Use Cases.
Abstract: We describe newly released and upcoming features in the HPE Shadowbase data replication product, including: new uni-directional and bi-directional HPE Shadowbase Zero Data Loss (ZDL) capability; the new Repair feature in the HPE Shadowbase Compare product; the new Enscribe to SQL SBDDLUTL utility to simplify replicating NonStop Enscribe data to various SQL target environments; support for IBM DB2 as a source; improvements to simplify migration from RDF or OGG to HPE Shadowbase; and additional HPE Shadowbase BASE24(tm) feature support. We also describe how HPE Shadowbase works in several common enterprise use case scenarios: business continuity (active/passive through sizzling-hot-takeover to fully active/active replication architectures); data integration and synchronization (big data/OLAP and feeding a data warehouse); application integration (real-time fraud detection and building a real-time business intelligence system); and zero downtime migration (eliminating planned application downtime and minimizing the risks associated with hardware and software changes).
