HPE RUGs gain momentum – May Update
While ETBC, Edinburgh featured highly in many people’s thoughts of late, there were still other events taking place over the last month. Whether you caught up with your local team in Europe or the US or your travels took you to the bottom of South America, there were plenty of opportunities for the NonStop community to avail themselves of chances to talk with others in the community, NonStop!
As you may very well be able to tell from the photo above, it was another successful NYTUG RUG event held at HPE Office in Berkeley Heights on the last day of April, where enthusiastic NonStop users gathered to share ideas and learn about the latest solutions and success stories presented by HPE and partners. This photo provided by TIC Software who took advantage of the opportunity afforded them to provide an update on their products. “There was a good group of NonStop community members present for this one-day event,” said TIC Software Chief of Business Development, Ryan Ly. “About 25 attendees that included 8 NonStop users among them many of the biggest financial institutions present in the region. It was an all-day program that was followed by a happy-hour networking opportunity that saw us enjoying time together at a local restaurant, the Delicious Heights!”
NonStop Summit Chile 2019
While nowhere near the magnitude of ETBC, the main NonStop user event for the Chile community also wrapped up as this issue of NonStop Insider was getting ready for production. While last year’s event had an attendance of 50 plus, those close to the event were expecting even more this year. OmniPayments’ Chile team, Lorenzo Fuentes and Michael Carter, were on hand to cover payments solutions for those in the financial services industry while for other vendors, HPE provided updates. ETI-NET Director of Business Development, Mirko Buzolitch, was in attendance and noted how, “The weather in Santiago, Chile is great and feels like Indian summer in Montreal; attendance has been good – all the users in Chile are attending – with attendees coming from both operations and application areas of the enterprise.”
HPE Discover 2019
Perhaps the biggest event of the year for HPE is about to begin – HPE Discover 2019. While this event only addresses the basics when it comes to NonStop, for those who want to understand more about HPE’s strategy and to hear firsthand HPE CEO Antonio Neri talk about the priorities being set for HPE as a whole, there is no better place than to go than to Las Vegas in June! There will be a number of familiar faces from the NonStop community in attendance so look for updates coming from many of them as the week progresses.
As for other events taking place this summer look for further updates from your community leadership in the coming months. When it comes to the U.S. there will be a lot of attention given to the upcoming N2TUG event in Texas as it always proves to be a great place to visit if you are looking for good, old fashioned Texas style hospitality to mix in with news about NonStop!
NonStop Technical Boot Camp 2019
While it’s early days it is still worth remembering that the biggest event of the year for the NonStop community will be held outside San Francisco airport in Burlingame, November 11 – 13. This will cater to all members of the NonStop community and already there is information beginning to appear on NonStop vendor websites. However, if you want to stay ahead of all the news it’s best if you check in at – https://www.nonstoptbc.com/ And yes, make sure you take the time to register for this event – we would all love to see you there in November!
