Lusis Payments: TUG Events Recap. On to TBC
Lusis Payments
It was great to see so many attend the Atlanta Tandem User Group (ATUG) event last month in Alpharetta Georgia. As a gracious host, HPE let us use their facility for the day and even gave tours of the customer solutions center. It was an opportunity to see a virtual NonStop demo in action.
As a vendor at these events it’s a great way to meet with several customers/prospects in a single venue. The atmosphere is relaxed and yet educational as the day is filled with informative presentations from HPE and the participating NonStop vendors. The special guest speaker of the event was security specialist Greg Swedosh, a principal consultant from Knightcraft Technology. The message Greg shared with us is how important security has become over the years and that making sure that all of our subsystems are secured is crucial.
As an application software provider, Lusis shares the importance of providing a solution that is not only functional but also secure. It’s how we build confidence with our customers and provide reinforcement that they’ve made the right decision when it comes to partnering with Lusis Payments and use of the Tango product suite.
It was our pleasure to award a vendor prize to Otto Kniesel from Total Systems based in Columbus GA. Otto hope you enjoy the Etekcity WiFi Smart Plugs.

The following week Lusis was honored to attend the Canadian Tandem User Group (CTUG) held at the HPE offices in Mississauga Ontario. It was great seeing so many of the NonStop users in Canada turn out for this event as well. As a vendor, it allows us to share what Lusis can provide to new prospects as well as catching up with customers on their current endeavors.
There is genuine excitement from everyone at the event about the performance being achieved with the new NonStop X servers running the L-series operating systems. As an HPE partner we’ve worked with customers who have performed benchmarks, in their environments, that consistently result in at least 2.5 times faster performance increases over their previous platforms. The advancements of the HPE NonStop X series platform combined with the micro service architecture of Tango lends itself to high efficiency performance results that our customers love seeing. We continuously hear these comments from clients as they continue to push for higher performance for their customers.
Lusis looks forward to working with both existing and future customers as they continue to roll out this technology.
To wrap up the CTUG event here’s a picture of the vendor area in the atrium of the HPE office in Canada.
Lusis looks forward to what is to come at the Technical Boot Camp (TBC) in November, as we get to interact even more with our customers and fellow colleagues working in the NonStop space. The sessions are always filled with new and creative ways to use the latest technology as we move towards the Edge and use of blockchain and distributed ledgers.
Please feel free to contact me at ki.roth@lusispayments.com for any questions, comments or to setup a time to chat at Boot Camp.
See you in November in San Francisco!
