Pyalla Technologies, LLC …Providing articles, commentaries and posts focused on HPE, Mission Critical Systems and NonStop
Pyalla Technologies
It may be a universally recognized reality that it takes a village to raise a child. But this isn’t the only universally accepted reality. In today’s world we all can recognize that it takes a community to elevate a product and to bring focus on how it has grown with the times. There have been announcements of late where NonStop has been included and some of these announcements have been headline grabbing.
In this update from Pyalla Technologies space is usually devoted to the promotion of various blog posts but in case you missed the news it was a March 22, 2022 HPE’s announcement in the Financial Times that caught our attention. Did you read it? Did you see it? If you missed it, the article in question is HPE GreenLake Selected by Worldline to Modernize Mission-Critical Payments where you will read about –
“The HPE GreenLake platform solution leverages HPE NonStop systems, which are ideally suited to support payment transactions with trusted, reliable, 100% fault-tolerant capabilities required for mission critical environments. HPE NonStop meets the stringent demands of a secure financial transaction workload, with the always-on, resilient design ensuring operational excellence and exceptionally high levels of availability. The solution was identified as the best cloud service to support Worldline’s mission critical business with the agility and flexibility to deliver an accelerated time-to-market for new applications and services.”
As a commentator and blogger totally focused on NonStop I couldn’t have provided any better support of NonStop within the GreenLake program if I had written this myself. Having written that, we all need to tip our hats to the good work being done in EMEA in support of NonStop and to the sales and technical experts that are being marshalled by Neil Davis, Director NonStop EMEA, in the pursuit of GreenLake opportunities centered on NonStop. The universe may hold many wonders but when it comes to enterprise IT, the legendary and iconic NonStop continues to attract attention around the world.
Of Pyalla’s blog posts the one that drew the most attention during this period happened to be the post about the contribution that comes from the presence of chapters, RUGs / SIGs and Tech Forums that continue to prosper. With the return to in-person events, for the most part, it will be a very interesting year in terms of actual participation. Already news coming out of SunTUG was positive but there are more gatherings of the community planed in the lead up to HPE Discover 2022. As this issue of NonStop Insider is published, the GTUG event will have been held virtually so expect to read more of this in the near term. Excited to be back networking? Count me in on that score, for sure!
But then again, like many members of the NonStop community I continue to be a tad impatient when it comes to seeing news about NonStop reaching mainstream publications. This patience or indeed lack of patience proved more than enough fodder to fuel a post to the NonStop community blog, Real Time View, as it also fueled a post to our social blog, Buckle Up. When it comes to business, the headline of the post read “patience” but when it came to the social pots, the headline of the post began with “impatient.”
The point being that irrespective of your own stance on the topic, seeing NonStop in the papers is important to all of us. As a community, NonStop users and vendors alike long to see positive reinforcement coming from the media over the choices that they make and so reading the article on the decision taken by Worldline means so much to those of us who continue to bear witness to the benefits that come from choosing NonStop to anchor our mission critical applications.
And now for the most recent posts and articles published during this period –
