The eBITUG 2023 PRE-CONFERENCE GOLF DAY
Hosted and Sponsored by TCM
TCM
DanFOLLOWING the success of 2019’s event, TCM is delighted to announce the return of the Pre-Conference Golf Day, this year to be held at another East-Scottish gem:
Craigielaw Golf Course
Monday 15th May, 8.30am – 5.00pm
TCM once again looks forward to welcoming eBITUG attendees to experience the challenge of true links golf as we visit the North Berwick coastline to do battle with undulating fairways and unpredictable weather. CRAIGIELAW is yet another beloved and famous golf course, recently hosting the European Senior Tour in 2019. It is a perfect example of what makes Scotland ‘the home of golf’.
Transportation, refreshments, green-fees and club hire have all been taken care of. All you will require is a can-do attitude and the patience of a saint!
Buses will collect participants from the Sheraton Hotel and leave promptly at 8.30am. Tee times are booked from 10.40am, leaving enough time for coffee and bacon rolls, not to mention a quick warm up at the adjacent practice range. After the round, a lunch will be provided before returning to the Sheraton Hotel with just enough time to prepare for the Beer Bust at 6pm.
Tee times are limited and attendees will be included on a first-come-first-served basis. Click below and fill in the email form to confirm you spot.
We look forward to having you,
Regards,
TCM
Inspired by the great links courses of Britain, particularly those on land which are less dominated by dunes, Craigielaw is equal to many of the finest examples of such courses; some of which are conveniently located nearby in the East Lothian area.
Designed by Donald Steel & Co. the course opened in 2001 and in this short period has been host to many national events, including the 2006 Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship and was a qualifying course for the 2007 British Seniors Open at Muirfield.
With challenging greens, cavernous bunkers and spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, Gullane Hill and out towards Edinburgh and Fife, Craigielaw Golf Club is an experience not to be missed.
