The global pandemic caused by COVID-19 has put us all in a very challenging situation, both in business and personally.

Like every organization around the world, comforte is continuously monitoring the news and government advice on COVID-19 to ensure that we comply with the latest guidelines.

As a business, we are committed to the health and wellbeing of our employees as well as keeping the spreading of the virus at bay, as much as we can.

comforte implemented a work from home policy for all employees early on. Business travel is suspended, and all internal and external meetings are conducted online.

As a global company in the software business, comforte is well prepared for a remote work policy:

We at comforte are determined to help our customers, partners and employees succeed in overcoming the many challenges the COVID-19 virus has brought us. We wish all of you to stay healthy and to keep safe!

NonStop events – what about them?

Usually, at this time of year, there are many NonStop user group meetings taking place, but due to the COVID-19 crisis, all events that were planned for the next few months were either postponed or cancelled. While we will all miss the technological updates, inspiring discussions and social gatherings, it is also an opportunity to think about other ways to maintain relationships with customers, partners and HPE alike.

We would like to encourage everyone in the NonStop world to get in touch with our partners and us by picking up the phone, sending an email, using social media channels like LinkedIn to discuss your ideas, plans and project requirements or just to say Hi!

We are hoping that the NonStop Technical Boot Camp 2020 in November will go ahead, but only time will tell.

Cybercriminals are jumping on the COVID-19 bandwagon

With the rising uncertainty and anxiety amongst people and businesses caused by the pandemic, cybercriminals have found new ways to obtain private and mission-critical data. It has, therefore, become even more crucial to protect the data, which so often defines your company, effectively and to apply best practises such as data-centric security using tokenization as a protection method. Break the cycle of data breaches by rendering data useless (but only to attackers).

Tokenisation replaces sensitive data elements with non-sensitive elements with no exploitable value. In many cases, you can even perform analytics on tokenized data, eliminating the risk of exposing sensitive data during processing. Security travels with the data in-house and in the cloud.
