NuWaves’ 2025 in Review – and What’s Ahead for 2026
As 2025 comes to a close, NuWave Technologies is proud to reflect on a year of innovation, collaboration, and growth. This year has been marked by exciting product launches, robust client engagement, and meaningful connections across the global tech community.
Key Product Milestones
2025 saw the successful launch of Kafka support for our LightWave Client (LWC), enhancing real-time data streaming and empowering clients with more flexible, high-performance solutions. In addition, we introduced Authentication Exits for both LightWave Client (LWC) and LightWave Server (LWS), reinforcing security and giving organizations greater control over access management. These launches underscore our ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology that meets the evolving needs of our clients.
Global Engagement Through TUGs
Our team had the privilege of engaging with users and partners worldwide through numerous TUG events. From ChileTUG to SUNTUG, MEXTUG, N2TUG, NYTUG, EBITUG, CTUG, TBC and Little SIG we connected directly with our community, shared insights, and learned from the experiences of users across diverse industries.
In addition, we hosted Virtual TUG 2025 by NuWave, bringing together HPE, clients, vendors, partners, and users from around the globe in a fully online, interactive format. The event provided a platform to showcase new solutions, discuss best practices, and engage in meaningful conversations with our community – all from the convenience of participants’ own locations. Participants tuned in for updates, and conversations that helped bridge the gap between in-person gatherings.

Looking Ahead: A Strong Start to 2026
As we move into 2026, NuWave is energized by the foundation built in the past year. Our priorities include:
- LightWave Enhancements – Continuing to expand capabilities and integrations across LightWave Client and LightWave Server.
- ISO 20022 Support – Enabling financial institutions to adopt the global payments standard and modernize transaction workflows.
- Authentication Exits (Auth Exits) – To strengthen security and access control.
- Password Policy Feature – To provide organizations with robust, flexible controls for user authentication and compliance.
- ACME (Automated Certificate Management) – Aimed at simplifying certificate lifecycle management and enhancing security.
- S3Utils – Expanding support for S3 storage utilities, making it easier to manage, migrate, and integrate object storage in Nonstop environments.
Alongside these technical advancements, NuWave will continue attending and supporting in-person TUG events around the world. Engaging face-to-face with customers, partners, and the broader Nonstop community remains one of our biggest priorities. These in-person gatherings give us invaluable opportunities to exchange ideas, share product updates, and learn directly from the people who rely on our solutions every day.
