Editorial February 2024
In this February 2024 edition of the NonStop Insider you will find quite a few interesting articles. Let me start with the comforte’s article: “The HPE NonStop Chile (aka LATUG) event held on January 17, 2024, at the Hotel NH Collection in Santiago de Chile, marked a significant milestone for comforte, as we had the opportunity to connect with attendees, share insights, and learn from discussions.” And then “there was a notable interest in the newly formed comforte LATAM team, reflecting the growing demand for data security solutions in the region.”
The LATUG event was also important to NTI: “… as a result of the negotiations pursued in Chile by the NTI sales team following in-depth review during NTI’s leadership meeting earlier in January, NTI is pleased to announce the formation of a sales relationship between NTI and VisionarIT that will address current market opportunities and beyond.” Read more in the NTI news release “NTI and VisionarIT Chile to form sales partnership focused on the expanding LATAM marketplace.”
Gravic has participated in the LATAM Chile event as well. You will read in Gravic’s article! “… it was an exciting day that encouraged engagement throughout from customers and partners. During the day, HPE and partners had the opportunity to present their solutions and roadmaps to a group of attendees from different companies. Customers and consultants shared ideas, news and talk among themselves and with partners about the HPE NonStop world, IT trends, and partner solutions.”
Read the article by CSP – and do not miss this announcement: “CSP Vulnerability Scanner version 2.0 is available now, and to celebrate its release, we are giving away one free Vulnerability Scanner license (for one Nonstop Development/Test server) and waiving the maintenance and support on the first year.

So, the NonStop (ne Tandem Computers) is about to celebrate its 50th birthday! In the article by Justin Simonds (of the HPE NonStop team), he wrote, “How beer-bust Friday began and other tales from the early days of Tandem Computers” you will find out more about the company history!”
Read also the article “There are some anniversaries worth a serious celebrating” by Richard Buckle.
In another article (Pyalla article) by Richard Buckle wrote: “The NonStop vendor community is stepping up its investments in NonStop with funding for new product development, services offerings and the support of regional groups. It all is showing real signs of improvement following the years we missed out on due to COVID.”
TCM also provided two articles in this issue of the NonStop: Future-Proofing Your NonStop Applications in 2024 A Guide to Modernization” and “TCM – Year 2024 is already shaping up to be the year for new platforms, new solutions, new regions and much more!”
