2026 RUG Program is filled with opportunities
for Nonstop community members to share experiences.

No matter how you go about picking the location for your next attendance at a Connect supported Regional User Group (RUG) event, whether it’s throwing a dart at a wall map or simply sticking a pin in a globe, you will more than likely find yourself looking at a location where the Nonstop community plans to gather. The only question is whether you plan on adding this to your 2026 calendar? A lot of work goes into the planning for each event, meeting, conference and it would be a terrible shame to miss out hearing something that might very well be a game-changer for Nonstop within your enterprise.

There are always the two big events to consider. The first is in Europe whereas the second, a continuation of past international gatherings (under the banner of ITUG Summit), is in the US and is perhaps the most looked-forward conference of the year. The team from Nonstop Insider always shows-up for the occasion at both locations as it is the source of much of the content that appears in issues of Nonstop Insider in the months that follow. There is always something to come out of the keynote sessions featuring the Nonstop executives and senior management that in the past have proved instrumental in the continued success of Nonstop.

Of course, there is always the annual trek to Las Vegas to consider where HPE celebrates the year with the Discover Las Vegas 2026 event held in the Venetian Resort Las Vegas (conference center). For those who have attended in the past, it has become a little more interesting of late given the support and promotion by Connect that ensures there is more than passing reference made to all things Nonstop.

As for local RUG meetings there is continued support by the Nonstop community in locations that have traditionally created programs of interest to local Nonstop community members. These are planned across most of 2026 with many already well into the “event promotion” season and represent the easiest path to finding out more about Nonstop.

While you may not come across all the members of the Nonstop Insider team, rest assured knowing that each of these upcoming events has been attended by one team member through the decades they have been held. Hopefully and with fingers-crossed there will be a return to Australia for an OzTUG meeting as previous events have attracted considerable interest among the Nonstop vendor community.

Irrespective of what RUG events might be added to the list above, it is always well-worth planning on attending one or more RUG events, be that your local event together with one of the major conferences. Perhaps there is nothing worse for a Nonstop enthusiast than to be made aware by your management about a product, feature or service that you missed out seeing or hearing about at an event. No matter how you make a choice of event (whether it is with a dart or a pin), make your plans and look forward to the networking opportunities as nothing says Nonstop better than a Nonstop community gathering!
