NuWave Technologies Enters New Growth Phase Following Acquisition, Outlines Vision for AI-Driven Integration

Why We Bought NuWave
When we made the decision to acquire NuWave, it wasn’t just a business transaction. It was a belief in what this company can become.
NuWave has always held a unique position in the market. In a world where legacy systems are often seen as barriers, NuWave has quietly been the bridge connecting mission-critical platforms like HPE Nonstop to modern architectures. That foundation is incredibly valuable.
What stood out to us most wasn’t just the technology. It was the combination of a loyal customer base solving real, high-stakes problems, a product like LightWave with untapped potential, and a niche market that is underserved but essential.
We saw an opportunity to take something already respected and turn it into something undeniably indispensable.
The Reality We Stepped Into
We didn’t walk into a blank slate. NuWave had strong technology, but limited modernization in how it was positioned. It had deep expertise, but much of that knowledge was concentrated in a small number of individuals. It had stable revenue, but not fully optimized for growth.
Like many companies in specialized markets, it had reached a plateau. Not because of lack of value, but because of lack of evolution.
That is exactly where we saw the opportunity.
Our Vision for NuWave
Our vision is simple:
We want NuWave to become the default integration layer for the HPE Nonstop ecosystem and beyond.
To get there, we are focused on four key areas.
- Modernizing the Platform Without Losing What Makes It Powerful
Modernizing the product without losing what makes it powerful. LightWave already does a lot of things extremely well. Our focus is on making it easier to adopt, expanding its capabilities into REST, security, and event-driven use cases, and packaging it in a way that aligns with how modern enterprises actually evaluate and deploy software. This is not about rebuilding the product. It is about unlocking what is already there.
- Enabling AI Integration Without Disruption
Leading the next wave of AI integration without disrupting current business operations. AI is becoming a priority for every organization, but most companies cannot afford to disrupt the systems their business depends on.
Our focus is on enabling AI to sit alongside existing systems, not replacing them. That means exposing Nonstop data and transactions securely so they can be used by AI models, enabling real-time decisioning without changing core application logic, and integrating with modern AI platforms in a controlled and practical way.
We strongly believe the future is not ripping out legacy systems. It is augmenting them intelligently. NuWave is going to be the layer that makes that possible.
- Scaling Go-To-Market and Partnerships
Scaling our go-to-market approach and expanding our partnerships. Growth in the past has largely been organic. Moving forward, it will be intentional. We are focused on strengthening our relationship with HPE, building strategic partnerships across integration, security, and AI ecosystems, and creating clearer messaging around the value we deliver.
NuWave will not just be known. It will be actively chosen.
- Building a Team Designed for Growth
Building a team and culture that is designed for growth. Technology alone does not build a company. People do. We are focused on giving our engineering team structure and clarity, creating accountability without unnecessary bureaucracy, and making sure everyone understands how their work connects to the bigger picture.
We want a team that is not just maintaining software but building something they are proud of.
What Will Change and What Will Not
There will be meaningful changes. Decision-making will be faster. Product direction will be clearer. Our growth strategy will be more aggressive. We will expand into AI-driven integration capabilities. There will be stronger alignment across the company.
At the same time, some things will not change. Our commitment to customers will remain the same. The reliability of our technology will not be compromised. We will continue to respect and support the Nonstop ecosystem that our customers depend on.
We are not here to disrupt for the sake of disruption. We are here to evolve the business with purpose.

The market is shifting quickly.
