Plentiful opportunities to network, engage and address
the year’s biggest gathering of the Nonstop community

Each year, the Nonstop community comes together to celebrate all things Nonstop. It’s the time to hear of product strategies and roadmaps and to hear about global sales programs and where the presence of Nonstop is making an impact. Whenever charts and graphs, showing further inroads by Nonstop into select markets, make it into the presentations by Nonstop executives, it is generating the positive responses coming from the attendees. Good news, as they like to say, will always be good news wherever Nonstop systems are concerned.
For the team from TCM, the opportunity to meet and greet the Nonstop community is always an event to look forward to. This year, by all appearances, this gathering of Nonstop adherents appeared larger than at the previous two events in Houston and before that in Monterey, given how the international support continues to grow. Packaged as an opportunity to participate in general sessions as well as having a chance for more private conversations with the HPE team as well as with select Nonstop vendors, it seemed that wherever you turned, something positive was bubbling among attendees.
As a company steeped in the history of Nonstop and Nonstop events, TCM supported this year’s event as a Platinum Sponsor. Once again, the presence of TCM’s traditional golf putting competition always assured that there were attendees present around the TCM stand. Conversations flowed as Nonstop customers took advantage of the presence of senior members of the TCM management team. For TCM, it proved to be an excellent event and Connect’s selection of the city of Orlando certainly was a good one.

TCM Managing Director, Daniel Craig, was among the presenters tasked with providing a company overview as part of the event’s “Lightning Sessions”. A new format for this year’s event, it gave almost all vendors the chance to showcase their company in ten minutes. “Problems! Problems! Problems!” Walking onto the stage, highlighting how many conversations between TCM and their customers start with problem descriptions, Daniel Craig then quickly changed gears to remind Nonstop customers that with the presence of Nonstop, they continue to have a competitive advantage.
More so, given TCM’s focus on delivering cohesive modernization, stability through managed services, momentum via our delivery of projects and consulting and perhaps new for many attendees, guidance with our product Optimiser+ helping set a direction for success. “Bring us your Ambitions,” certainly hit home for many members of the Nonstop community. It’s been a long time coming but at the same time, consistent with the success of Nonstop systems of late, but directing a spotlight on the ambitions of Nonstop customers certainly made subsequent conversations lively. Likewise, “Is there a better way,” became the central message for much of what anchored the messages from TCM. “The concept of how in the world of today’s mission-critical deployments of Nonstop, TCM no longer just fixes problems, we help Nonstop customers move from where they are now, to where they want to be.

Even as the Nonstop community acknowledges how Nonstop is mission critical providing unmatched uptime well into the five and even six, nines, “what we often fail to recognize is that this is only part of the uptime story,” said Daniel Craig. “We completely forget that between 70%-95% of mission critical failures continue to be human error. From our own observations, whereas the Nonstop hardware and its software stack is only a single element of measured uptime, we must also acknowledge the fact that skilled Nonstop people are retiring at a fast pace. Considering this fact and with it, the heightened risks involved when it comes time to introduce less-experienced Nonstop people into IT management roles in support of Nonstop, the potential for even more failures is apparent.

TCM was proud to be celebrating 30 years of supporting the Nonstop community, the passage of a milestone we promoted with celebratory cupcakes on our booth. The Sunday before the event, at the Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf, with Neil Davis, HPE Nonstop’s Global Sales Director, leading the highly competitive HPE Nonstop team, a friendly round of mini golf was played, pitching the Nonstop team against TCM. Winners of the prized trophy – a replicant gold-encrusted space shuttle miniature (plastic, no less) – the Nonstop team were duly proud of the accomplishment even as TCM was left to rue the day with light-hearted banter even if the event itself bordered on orchestrated mayhem.
We were also pleased when it came time to take our message further afield. As one of the sponsors supporting APAC Regional Manager Ayush Keshan at Monday night’s Top Golf celebration, where HPE, vendors and customers were able to freely mix and where the conversations were considerably more light-hearted than what followed that week.
As the TBC 2026 event came to an end, it was apparent that together, HPE, the Connect organization and the many members of the Nonstop vendor community that offered the support, resulted in a gathering that was worthwhile for the attendees as it was informative for those HPE Nonstop team members that were present. For now, all eyes will turn towards San Diego and to the event in 2027 but before then, there’s still the E-BITUG conference to look forward to as it is once again, scheduled to be held April 20 – 27, 2027, in Dublin, Ireland.
From all of us, we look forward to seeing you and to having further opportunities to discuss the value that can come with forging an even closer relationship with TCM.
