Celebrating another successful
HPE Nonstop Technology & Business Conference, 2026

The Nonstop community gathered in Orlando for the annual HPE Nonstop Technology & Business Conference (Nonstop TBC 2026) where the attendance was clearly greater than in past years. Well-supported by the regions, with Customer Council roundtables as well as strong participation coming for Asia Pacific Japan (AP/J), all supported through the many conversations and session presentations given over the course of the week. The decision to provide opportunities for Nonstop partners to provide 10-minute company updates in what was billed as Lightning Sessions, proved successful as they provided entertaining insights into the history, product plans and the strong commitment of Nonstop partners to the platform.
From the team at NTI the opportunity to highlight their recently updated website and to launch their primary messaging for the coming year, was well received. Whereas HPE Nonstop team did an excellent job in promoting how what was old is new again, NTI joined in with its own message about changing perceptions. Familiar to all Nonstop customers as the provider of Business Continuity solutions through data replication, NTI took a bold stance on its pivot to being a pure play in the data space.
“We move the data that moves your business best highlights this all-important pivot
for NTI. Moving data with DRNet® has led to where DRNet® migrates legacy
data movement solutions in support of modernization, amalgamates data created on
Nonstop with external processes and databases as it enables AI requests onboarding and
data flow offboarding with minimal impact on the performance of existing Nonstop solutions.”
Cody Newton, NTI CEO
Considerable attention by all of the vendors was given to AI. This didn’t come as a surprise to conference attendees given the steady flow of AI headlines of late. When it comes to changing perceptions, the probability that Nonstop will be subject to AI Client access, is likely to be 100%. Nonstop solutions will likely see AI models and data running on adjacent servers as predicted by HPE Nonstop management, but almost as certainly, for NTI, being a data focused company, the need to work closely with DRNet® customers is a certainty. In all likelihood, following discussions with customers and prospects alike, the impact of AI on Nonstop will be slow to begin with but as Nonstop IT staff become more familiar with AI, the impact from AI will grow exponentially over a very short period of time.
“The AI mandate is coming to your Nonstop data.
The only real question is whether it arrives on your terms —
secure, governed, and in real time”.
“To ensure smooth transitions take place NTI
is working closely with vendors in its partner ecosystem
among them Infrasoft with uLinga Nexus having become
the vendor receiving the most attention from the Nonstop community.”
Alphonse Hoge, NTI CTO
Perceptions, mistaken or otherwise, today are just that, perceptions, artificial in that they are grounded in old information that is only loosely connected to what is being delivered by the Nonstop team. A similar perception exists for NTI with DRNet®. The reality is far removed from the messages of just another fault tolerant box and that of being a D/R solution. Intelligent evaluation will lead the Nonstop community to the new reality for Nonstop and NTI and with this realization, the Nonstop community will be well placed to lead as demands on data increase.
From this year’s Nonstop TBC 2026 conference the biggest take-away was that Nonstop remained supported by a highly visible, growing, community and that NTI was well prepared to grow right alongside this growth of Nonstop. It was encouraging, as we look back at the week, to see so many familiar faces but better still, so many attendees who were attending their very first Nonstop conference. For NTI, this bodes well for the future of Nonstop even as it highlights that the NTI pivot to becoming your data company of choice, will only resonate more strongly across the entire Nonstop community in the days and weeks to come.
