eBITUG 2023 in Edinburgh

BITUG (British Isles NonStop User Group) is pleased to be organizing and hosting the biggest NonStop User Conference in Europe this year – eBITUG 2023. It will be held in the stunning and cultural city of Edinburgh in Scotland, UK, from May 15th thru May 17th. We’ll be located at the fantastic Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa and of course eBITUG 2023 attendees can take up the fantastic special room rate we have secured for you from the Sunday thru Thursday. Of course there are a multitude of other hotels nearby to cover all price ranges.

If this isn’t enticement enough, then the city itself which will feature in a number of the planned supporting programs. If as yet you haven’t had an opportunity to stroll the grounds and nearby streets of the mighty fortress that is Edinburgh Castle, then this may be the best opportunity you will have in quite some time.

We plan to have a full 2-day multi-track agenda, featuring Keynotes, HPE Executives, Vendor and Customer Presentations and we are trying to make this an Educational Event as much as possible. We are fully aware that for a number of members of our NonStop community participation may be problematic but after the Agenda is published a simple scan of the content should be enough to warrant the participation of every NonStop user.

When it comes to the Agenda, it is still very much a work in progress. However plans are well underway with the venue and all that goes into holding such a community event. We are offering all general attendees a very, very, LOW price registration of £100 early bird rate until March 1, and then the price will increase to a still-paltry £150.

We are able to achieve this with the financial assistance of our fantastic Sponsors – all of which you can see on the event webpage – BITUG is a non-profit organization by the way so the Sponsors fully fund this event. These Sponsors, part of the much larger NonStop vendor community, are just as eager to see your participation as I am sure you are in hearing of the amazing investments that continue to be made in support of the NonStop platform.

It was only a short time ago, back in 2019, when this event was held in the same location. And once again, we will be offering participants arriving Monday the chance to do an afternoon activity. TCM will be hosting their Golf Day; we will have a special Gala Dinner at a near location with a difference on Tuesday evening – and yes of course it will feature a Scottish theme – How could we forget the Addressing of the Haggis?  

But it will all officially kick-off at the “Beer Bust” held at Brewdog next door to the hotel from 6pm on Monday evening. We will all be there – will you? So looking forward to catching up with the European NonStop Community as they do what has so often proved to be viewed as what they do best – kick back and enjoy the education, networking and social informality that is BITUG!
