2021. What an interesting year. With the world turned upside down by a pandemic that seemingly had its sights set on...
NonStopTBC2021 is going virtual
- The traditional beer bust has to wait another year -
While it is somewhat disappointing for everyone involved not to be able to run an in-person NonStopTBC in Denver this year, it is undoubtedly the right decision to host a virtual event instead.
The ongoing international travel restrictions and a generally cautious approach to (inter)national travel and participation in conferences due to Covid, would very likely have resulted in a below-par TBC compared with previous years. Add to that HPE’s stricter Covid guidelines for all HPE sponsored event attendees, it was clearly the right decision to pull the plug on the in-person event and focus on a virtual event.
The traditional Beer Bust will have to wait another year!
This year’s virtual NonStopTBC will be slightly different to last year in that it is capped at 1,000 attendees and it won’t have simultaneous tracks around the globe. There will only be one US track broadcast in the Central Time Zone.
comforte is making the most of the virtual TBC and is pleased to announce that we will be supporting the event as a Platinum Sponsor as originally planned.
We have several presentations lined up. The focus will be on security but also digital transformation.
In the first security talk, we will cover the importance of data-centric security and the fact that data protection is a journey. We will take a closer look at data discovery and classification, data protection, as well as the increasingly important and cloud integration.
The second security presentation looks at PCI DSS and how you can achieve compliance on HPE NonStop. We discuss the 12 PCI DSS requirements and how compliance can be achieved with the help of comforte’s security solutions.
Next, we have a session on Digital transformation where we highlight how you can future-proof your trusted applications by enabling web services, migrating Enscribe to SQL and by renovating the user interface.
Another highlight at this year’s TBC is the ‘demo room’. Together with our partner Infrasoft, we will demonstrate the latest addition to the uLinga family of products – uLinga for Kafka. uLinga for Kafka combines the best performance and highest reliability to stream NonStop data into your Kafka environment.
Last but not least, comforte will participate in the Security Panel discussion. Participants will discuss how to protect your data, avoid breaches and meet PCI in today’s increasingly challenging compliance world.
We are looking forward to (virtually) seeing you at the NonStopTBC. Please stop by our virtual booth and get in touch.
